Mind Maze is a visual metaphor for psychological confinement, the invisible architecture that governs thought, choice, and identity. At the centre of the composition stands a solitary rabbit, frozen mid-decision, surrounded by a labyrinth of high-contrast walls that offer endless routes but no visible exit. The rabbit functions as both subject and symbol: instinctive, alert, and aware, yet trapped within a system it did not design. Unlike traditional mazes that promise resolution, this structure presents only repetition, corridors that loop back on themselves, dead ends disguised as direction, and a single gold opening that suggests opportunity while remaining unreachable. Mr Phantom uses the maze as a representation of modern cognition: overstimulated, controlled, and quietly manipulated. The stark geometry contrasts with the organic vulnerability of the figure, emphasising the tension between human intuition and imposed structure.
