Tranquil Tide explores the relationship between movement and stillness within the ocean. I was interested in how light travels through water and how subtle changes in depth create shifting patterns and tones. Layers of blue build across the surface to suggest the slow motion of currents and the balance between flow and calm. The work reflects my ongoing interest in capturing the rhythm of the sea — how even in moments of quiet, there is a continuous sense of movement.
