This Cubist still life, Nature Morte Oblique, after Georges Braque, was produced circa 1950 by the renowned French publisher Maeght, Paris. Rendered as a colour etching on fine Rives paper, the work captures Braque’s mature abstraction of domestic subjects—a tilted tabletop arrangement featuring fruit, vessels, and layered shadow forms.

While not etched directly by Braque, this edition was created under the artist’s authorization and faithfully reflects his original composition and stylistic vision. Each impression is pencil-signed and hand-numbered from a limited edition of 300.

A rare and vibrant example of post-war French printmaking, this work embodies the enduring legacy of Braque’s pioneering role in Cubism.
