The almost entirely black-and-white palette makes the tiny flashes of yellow lipstick and glowing red cigarette feel even more rebellious. With oversized lettering and deliberately loose, graphic brushwork, the painting sits somewhere between a warning sign and a fashion statement that has made several questionable life choices. Smoking may kill, but according to Todd, apparently looking cool is determined to put up a fight.
