Description

A single black sheep stands at the centre of a vast flock, surrounded by white sheep wearing virtual-reality headsets that obscure their vision. While the majority move forward blinded and uniform, the black sheep remains uncovered, alert, and exposed. In Black Sheeps Lead, Mr Phantom inverts the traditional narrative of conformity and deviance. The outsider is no longer lost or rejected, but positioned as the only figure capable of seeing clearly. The work critiques blind obedience shaped by technology, media, and comfort, suggesting that leadership does not emerge from consensus, but from the courage to remain awake while others choose distraction.
